Private/Custom Group Classes
Group dance classes are a fun way for adults of any age to learn how to dance in a friendly social setting.
Grab some friends and tell us what you want to learn and we’ll make it happen. Just tell us you want your own Custom Group Class!
Our dance instructors will create a group class just for your group. They are ideal for learning anything from basic techniques to getting comfortable with the fundamentals of specific dance styles. We offer all levels classes from beginner, to intermediate, and advanced to accommodate anyones dancing ability.
Group classes are a great compliment to your private lessons to not only rehearse your skills, but to sharpen your knowledge of any dance.
Social Dance Parties/Milonga/Showcases
IBDC social dance parties/showcases provide an ideal setting for perfecting your freshly learned moves, meeting new people, and simply having fun. Pro-Am Ballroom/Latin Dance Competitions
When it comes to Ballroom Dance and DanceSport, you hear the expression Pro-Am a lot. Pro-Am competition is a category in DanceSport where amateur students partner with a professional dancer, similar to what you see on “Dancing With The Stars.” In these events only the amateur is being judged, leaving the professional free to concentrate on helping you look and dance your best! There are several age classifications and level divisions available, allowing professionals to dance with all their students, and to ensure you compete against other dancers of similar skill. Every dance style is available, so you can choose the dances you want to compete in. IBDC offers ability for our students to compete in International Ballroom, Latin & American Smooth & Rhythm Styles.
Pro-Am Argentine Tango Dance Competitions
IBDC additionally offers for PRO-AM students to compete in Argentine Tango competitions held not only Nationally but also Internationally. PRO-AM category in Argentine tango is defined in competitions as an Amateur Student who does not teach but competes, dances or performs, with a Professional Instructor. Pro-Am partnership is able to compete in different levels described in the Tango syllabus section and can participate in single dances, championships, showcases. This form of competition is a quite popular Worldwide and provides an ability for our Argentine Tango Students evaluate their dance skills against other students worldwide.
